Are you a giver? Or a taker?

Well, this was a really nice conversation I had with a good friend of mine.

Actually, one of my clients.

And we were talking about how today it’s very hard to find good leaders and good managers.

There are good leaders, better said.

And one of the things that I remember when I was in sales, when I was in business.

Was the simple idea was the more I gave to others, the more I gave others the things that I knew, the more I shared my successes with others.

The more success I have achieved.

There are people in life that are just gonna get, get, get, and they just hoard everything.

They keep everything for themselves.

And then when they got promoted, because they were good in doing different things, then they haven’t been used to giving.

And the impact of that is really grave on themselves, on the organization, and of course the atmosphere, the environment in which a person is working at.

You know, the things that I did that really drove me and that actually made me who I am today, I remember.

When I started achieving success, I did it because I was studying success.

I was reading, listening to audio programs, attending seminars.

And I would share what I did, and of course I was achieving success, I shared what I did with others.

And the moment I shared the ideas, the moment I prepared my thoughts to share them, is the moment that I was actually imprinting in my unconscious mind, even stronger ties to understand that relate to the content of the material, and it made me even that much more successful.

So my biggest question for you is, are you a giver or are you a taker in life?

Are you a giver or are you a taker as part of your team, and today make it a point to give.

I challenge you today, make it a point to give up your time 10 minutes at the next sales meeting.

Decide on a topic, whether it’s time management or it is, you’re getting commitment or overcoming an objection.

Decide to study that topic and decide to give it back to your colleagues and friends and share with them how you overcome or how you utilize these ideas to overcome your challenges.

Until next time, sell more, sell faster and profitably.

If this is something that you do on a regular basis, or if it’s something that you tried for the first time and you really got a good experience to share.

Go ahead and comment below!

So, that everybody can get on the bandwagon of giving.

And the more you give, the more you get.

I’ll see you next.
